How to install SailViewer on a Windows device
In order to run SailViewer on a Windows machine, you need to install Android Emulator
The easiest way to setup the app is by using the Bluestacks Emulator for Windows
You can find it here:
Download the latest version of the Bluestacks App

Another option is to install the Android Studio which can then install a development emulator, the same way it is recommended for the Mac users in this guide: https://ib-sailing.com/sailviewer-app/sailviewer-user-guide/how-to-install-on-mac/
Once Bluestacks is installed, start Play Store on it and log into it with your Google account
From there search for SailViewer and install the SailViewer app.
If Play Store cannot find SailViewer, you have probably installed the wrong version of the Bluestacks.
To remove the ads from the Bluestacks:
just switch them off in the settings as described here:

To transfer files to Bluestacks:
-Transfer from Windows folders:
- Go to the home screen on Bluestacks
- Select System Apps
- Select Media Manager
- Select Import from Windows
- Choose files to import
- They will be inside Imported Files.
- Select the files you want to import and click on Share Button
- Select SailViewer
From SailViewer App you can import those logs:
- … / Import Logs
- Click on three dots in the top right corner and select Show Internal Storage ( need to do it only once )
- Click on the three lines button ( top left )
- Select the device ( in my case is called ONEPLUS…)
- Select DCIM
- Select SharedFolder
- Select and Import the files you want
- Use your Gmail address
or
- Use one of the messaging apps ( Telegram )
