Start

Almost no bias at all, so was same to start anywhere. Stella gaining after the start. Adrenaline and Shotgunn far behind the line at the gun.

1st Upwind

Stella taking the lead after the start. Keeping it till meeting with La Pericolosa. Then ended up going over the layline, but on the way to the mark dropping below and losing a lot. La Pericolosa again with the highest angles. Only Adrenaline was close to it. Adrenaline even gaining to all on that high lane on starboard. Katabatic and Morinos went far over the left layline. Shotgunn saving bad start with approach to the top mark under the layline.

Clean sailing numbers. Stella the fastest, La Pericolosa the highest.

Top Mark

Huge time difference between three with good rounding and the others.

1st Downwind

Very similar times of four boats. La Pericolosa the fastest, but they also went lower after the hoist, being cleaner. Adrenaline and Motions losing steadily through the leg. Katabatic had the highest VMG not counting the maneuvers. The course was skewed, resulting in almost 2 times more sailing on port. Still no one ended up below the layline.

Gate Rounding

Many boats going very wide. This results in huge losses. Better to be dropping a bit early than to go that far down and back up. Distances in animation between Stella and Adrenaline clearly show it. Left turn a bit more upwind, but Stella had the fastest rounding, enough to compensate for it.

2nd Upwind

La pericolosa taking another 11 seconds of the 2nd boat. Stella and Shotgunn similar. Adrenaline, Katabatic and Motions steadily losing. Motions 7 degrees lower than La Pericolosa in straight lines.

Clean Numbers, no maneuvers and roundings

2nd Downwind

With La Pericolosa retired, Shotgunn did the best downwind. Sided did not matter since Katabatic was the second best with the straight set, catching a lot on Adrenaline. Both Shotgunn and Katabatic managed sailing lower angles.
