Start
Square line, so all was about being there on time with speed. Vigilant and Arethusa were in fight and both ended up late. Defiant also a bit behind.
1st Upwind
Another close upwind, with Arethusa the only one performing worse, sailing much lower on the right side. The others were close and at the end New Wave popped ahead a bit. Enough to cover Gamecock that had to do two extra tacks to make the mark.
Top Mark
Expensive two tacks by Gamecock. They were almost equal with New Wave, but have paid a lot once rolled. Vigilant with not the best tack before the mark, too.
1st Downwind
Very close racing between there boats. Gamecock lost some meters in the hoist. From there on three boats were almost equal. Arethusa also gaining to the boats in front. New Wave stretching forward.
Gate Rounding
One of the most important moments. Defiant lost the most by avoiding New Wave and doing the sharp turn. Arethusa also losing since they were forced to go away from Defiant and sailed loner way to the other mark.
2nd Upwind
Another close leg. Arethusa has gone to the right and did the biggest gain. Gamecock also used the right at the end to gain. There was a slight right shift.
2nd Downwind
Great Downwind by Vigilant. Playing it nice on the left side. Arethusa has lost quite some meters on the right this time. Gamecock also sailed high and not so fast after the gybe. Defiant with solid performance, but too far back to catch up.
