Race Area

Wind approaching the land with quite an angle already.

Start

Almost no bias. New Wave was the only one close to the line. Others were quite behind.

1st Upwind

Wind pretty much stable. There were some very expensive tacks and bear aways on the right layline. Mostly caused by boats a bit back not trying to find a solution to get out of the right side sooner with a bit extra space to tack again if needed. The boats are so equal that you fight for a single meter for minutes and then drop a lot by a large bearaway.

Steep ttl drops of red and blue.
A bit of a left shift. Still take with care, not enough boats to be sure.

Top Mark

Arethusa cutting the corners the best

1st Downwind

New Wave gaining a lot after the gybe. Arethusa with quite a loss. The course was also skewed so early gybe was a good thing to do.

Gate Rounding

Some gate bias, Gamecock gained on Arethusa

2nd Upwind

Fleet compressing. Great lane of Vigilant bringing them closer and Gamecock has taken the lead from New Wave. Also looks like Gamecock went a over the layline, allowing New Wave to jump in.

  1. Place of loss for New Wave
  2. Great lift for Vigilant
  3. Loss for Arethusa
pretty stable with some left shift at the end (partly can be caused to show too much left due to boats over the right layline)

2nd Downwind

New Wave rolled by Gamecock. Arethusa used that fight and has gained nicely with the early gybe. Vigilant has gained enough to almost overtake NewWave. Just got rolled after the gybe at the end. Looks like they could sail a bit longer before gybing to keep some distance from New Wave.
