Race Stats

Start

I have stella at 5m behind, but this is the device location and am using the pings that are for sure not precise. In any case, if over, it was by very little. La pericolosa reduced. Quite large pin end bias that had to be taken.

1st Upwind

Pretty skewed course. Looks like that left shift was coming just before the race so mark stayed more right. La pericolosa gaining since the first tack. Had the best lane to the right and then also some right shift to get to the mark. Katabatic has some loss of GPS signal again, resulting in TTL graph issues at some points.

Different starting position makes the course more or less skewed. Katabatic at 17 degrees and 2:1 La Pericolosa 10 degrees and 1.57:1 so has more space to play shifts.

Green on starboard tack at the top with right shift

The wind went right at the end

Top Mark

La Pericolosa leading, but had to cross and tack late around the mark, so Shotgunn went ahead. Adrenaline went way high on the offset leg.

1st Downwind

Katabatic was the fastest with the gybeset, losing at first, but then gaining a lot. However, Motions was not that successful there. Adrenaline had the longest downwind.

Note that gybe DW meters are higher overall since now it takes 25 seconds after dead downwind.

Clean numbers

Gate Rounding

Small bias favoring left turn. La Pericolosa gaining 12s on Shotgunn. Most of it before the mark.

2nd Upwind

La Pericolosa extending. Katabatic losing quite a lot, going low on starboard to the left side and then over the left layline. Adrenaline also sailed far over the right layline. The wind was more right already at the gate, going even a bit more right during the leg.

Over the layline boats pretty red. Shotgunn with a good righty at the top.

Clean sailing

2nd Downwind

Motions and Shotgunn gaining on the leader. Motions spent the shortest time on this leg, avoiding the initial gybe-set loss, also gaining on the way to the mark. Katabatic losing at the gybe set and Pericolosa losing at the last part of the leg.
