Start adv shows where the leg was started. For example Ineos started the last upwind (leg 7) 11m below LRPP. Ineos is not cutting the corners as well as LRPP does.

Note that loss gets calculated for each tack compared to VMG pre and after. Ineos has less VMG before and after and is therefore losing less. Better performance number is UpMeters that shows how many upwind meters boats did. All the numbers are medians, so a bad maneuver will not kill the numbers. Half tacks are above those numbers and half are below for each boat.
