Back To Andalusia – Cádiz
UW Straight lines foiling
Ignore Denmark!!! Probably faulty RH sensor adding too much sailing to foiling!!!!
Note that filter is applied, so use the data more to look at the settings than performance.
- In this wind conditions, angle while foiling is pretty low at 60 degrees. Any degree higher creates a huge bump in VMG.

Similar cant vs boatspeed data. We tend to push out a bit later. Ger pushed all the way out on 2nd race starboard, but without noticeable gains. Their pitch went to -3.7 at that point.
AUS GBR and USA only. Whole day upwind foiling

Tacks
All Tacks, including non foiling (too few foiling ones overall). In races, not the ones around the marks.

Foiling VS Touch and Go
Probably not a big difference between succesful foiling tack and touch and go one. I see touch and go as a great option when lifted and going to the boundary, since you don’t build and end up foiling up to boundary for much longer. Especially if you press for hight more (we never ended up that lifted as the others, probably had not such an urge to try since we wanted those foiling tacks. note big greens in tracks, those are big gains). AUS 227 tack is a great example of touch and go with pop at high angle.
